Nattokinn® contains nattokinase (NSK-SD®), fibrinolytic enzyme present in Japanse food for more than thousand years, and folic acid in form of L-methylfolate calcium. Nattokinase is produced by soybean fermentation, and therefore is completely natural and safe dietary supplement. Folic acid is important for cell division, normal blood formation, and normal metabolism of homocysteine. Furthermore, folic acid contributes to the normal function of the immune system, and reduces fatigue and exhaustion.
Recommended dose is one to two capsules daily, taken with 200 ml of water.
Nattokinn® is a dietary supplement, therefore the treatment duration cannot be defined. One to two capsules daily provide optimal effect on cardiovascular health.
No. Nattō is traditional Japanese food, boiled soybeans fermented by the bacteria Bacillus subtilis natto. Nattokinase is an enzyme isolated from nattō. Additionally, nattō is natural source of vitamin K2, which is important for blood clotting process. For that reason, nattō might intervene with the effect of the blood-thinner drugs. On the contrary, nattokinase is a purified enzyme which does not contain vitamin K2, nor other caloric ingredients from nattō.
After oral administration of one standard nattokinase dose (2000 FU, or 100 mg), maximum concentration of this enzyme is detected in blood after 13 hours. It is experimentally confirmed that this enzyme is efficiently absorbed from the small intestine. Fibrinolytic activity of nattokinase is detected in blood of experimental animals after direct nattokinase application into the small intestine.
Experimental, clinical and toxicological studies showed no adverse reactions with nattokinase administration. Nattokinase is an enzyme present in everyday diet in Japan, which additionally supports its safety. Nevertheless, bacteria used for the fermentation of soybeans (Bacillus subtilis natto) are not pathogenic (do not cause diseases in humans).
Nattokinn® contains nattokinase (NSK-SD®), natural enzyme which is present in Asian diet for more than thousand years. This supplement is safe, has no adverse effects on human health which is confirmed by many clinical and toxicological studies. Nattokinase is administered orally, opposite to parenteral administration of most fibrinolytics. Most importantly, nattokinase demonstrates multiple beneficial cardiovascular effects, which can significantly improve cardiovascular health.
There are no recorded interactions between natokinase and other drugs or dietary supplements. People who are already taking medicines should use Nattokinn® only under the doctor’s supervision. Caution is needed when taking blood-thinners and in cases of higher bleeding risk.
There are no sufficient evidence to confirm safety of nattokinase in children, during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Therefore, Nattokinn® is not recommended during pregnancy, breast-feeding, for children less than 18 years old, in cases of allergy to soybeans, or to any of the supplement ingredients.
In cases of taking more than the recommended Nattokinn® dose, immediately report to your doctor.
Caution is needed, as well as consultation with the physician before taking Nattokinn® in cases of:
* Consult your physician before taking Nattokinn®.
Nattokinn® cannot replace prescribed anticoagulation therapy.
Surgical interventions increase the risk of bleeding. Therefore, it is recommended to stop taking nattokinase at least two weeks before the planned surgical procedure.
There are no recorded interactions between nattokinase and different groceries.
Consumed food do not influence Nattokinn® effects significantly. To achieve optimal effect, it is recommended that Nattokinn® should be taken one hour before meal, or two hours after after meal, respectively.
In case you forget to take Nattokinn®, it should not be compensated with double dose. It is recommended to continue with one to two Nattokinn® capsules daily. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Dietary supplements do not replace healthy and well-balanced diet.
Nattokinn® should be stored at room temperature (25⁰C), in a dry place, away from light, and out ofthe reach of children.
